Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
1. Welcome & Acceptance
Welcome to Baguio's Court Commander! By entering the venue, joining the queue, or using the Court Commander system in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the system or participating in play.
2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
- Badminton is a physical sport. By choosing to play, you acknowledge and accept all inherent risks associated with physical activity, including but not limited to muscle strain, falls, and collisions.
- The venue and its organizers are not liable for any personal injury, accidents, or health-related incidents that occur during play.
- The venue is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to any personal property, including but not limited to bags, rackets, phones, clothing, and valuables.
- Players are solely responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and readiness to participate.
- Players are encouraged to warm up properly before playing and to wear appropriate court footwear to minimize injury risk.
3. Racket Rental Liability
- Any racket rented from the venue that is destroyed, damaged, or lost shall be the full responsibility of the player who rented it, regardless of the reason or circumstance.
- In the event that a rented racket is accidentally damaged or broken by another player during play, the player who rented the racket remains fully liable for the cost of replacement or repair.
- The replacement or repair cost will be determined solely by the venue staff at the time of the incident, and their assessment is final.
- Players are expected to handle all rented equipment with care. Inspect the racket before use and report any pre-existing damage to the staff immediately.
4. Queue Master Authority
- The Queue Master has sole and final discretion over queue order, court assignments, and matchmaking decisions.
- Decisions regarding who plays next, on which court, and with whom are final and are not subject to dispute or appeal.
- The Court Commander system assists the Queue Master, but the human operator's judgment always overrides the system's suggestions.
5. Code of Conduct — Play Fair, Play Kind
- Treat all players, staff, and spectators with respect and courtesy at all times.
- No abusive language, intimidation, bullying, or unsportsmanlike behavior will be tolerated.
- Keep the courts clean and return any shared equipment in good condition after use.
- Be ready when your name is called. Respect other players' time by staying attentive to your queue position.
- Celebrate good rallies — win or lose, keep it fun. Sportsmanship is the heart of this community.
6. Fees & Payment
- Online payment (GCash) is the preferred method for securing your slot. Online transactions are verified automatically and guarantee your spot in the queue.
- Cash payments are also accepted, but must be validated on-site by the Queue Master before your slot is confirmed.
- Slots are limited per session. Once all available slots have been filled, cash payments can no longer be accommodated for that session. To avoid missing out, online payment is recommended.
- All fees are non-refundable once a slot has been confirmed, unless otherwise determined by the Queue Master.
7. Compliance & Enforcement
- First minor violation: a verbal warning from the Queue Master or venue staff.
- Repeated or moderate violations: temporary suspension from the queue and court access.
- Serious misconduct (violence, harassment, theft, intentional property damage): permanent ban from the venue.
- The Queue Master and venue management reserve the right to remove any player at any time, without refund, at their sole discretion.
8. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the venue, the queue system, or participation in play after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
